Liverpool have reportedly entered discussions with Barcelona over the potential signing of Ousmane Dembele.
It’s claimed by French news outlet RMC Sport that the Reds want to significantly strengthen their attacking options this summer and Dembele has seemingly been identified as a target.
The Reds are stated by RMC to have agreed on a huge deal to sign Nabil Fekir from Lyon this summer, but they will not settle there. Liverpool are reported to have already made a serious approach to land the former Borussia Dortmund winger.
Jurgen Klopp is noted to be an admirer of Dembele’s qualities. The Frenchman was a target for Liverpool last summer, according to reports, but Klopp failed in his efforts to lure him to Anfield.
Dembele has not been as influential as he would have hoped at Barcelona this season but is still regarded as one of the world’s most promising young players.
Barcelona will certainly demand a huge sum if they are to sell Dembele.
