Liverpool’s £31.5m-rated midfield target ‘open to transfer’ with Reds monitoring throughout Euro 2020

Liverpool have recently been linked with a move for Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Florian Neuhaus.

The German played an integral role for Monchengladbach last season, starting 88% of their Bundesliga games.

Following his fine form, Neuhaus was included in Germany’s squad for this summer Euro 202 tournament.

This has given the Reds further chance to monitor the 24-year-old in action, according to the Liverpool Echo.

The Echo is also reporting that Neuhaus is open to a move away from Germany, amid Liverpool’s interest…

The news, as cited by Anfield Watch on Twitter, could prove important for Liverpool in their interest for Neuhaus.

After Georginio Wijnaldum’s departure to PSG, Liverpool have been weakened in midfield.

Neuhaus seems the perfect type of player for Jurgen Klopp, given his abilities and his age.

The German currently has a market value of £31.5million according to Transfermarkt, which could prove important.

Despite his age and obvious talent, Neuhaus could be a signing that could be available at a better price than other targets.

Liverpool have also been linked with Atletico Madrid’s Saúl Ñíguez, but the Spaniard has a £129m release clause.

Whatever happens with the clubs interest in Neuhaus, this Euros will give Klopp a better opportunity at getting a further look at the German midfielder.
