Liverpool have reportedly sent scouts to Italy to watch Lazio striker Ciro Immobile this Sunday.
According to claims made by Anfield Press on social media, the Reds have tasked their scouts to get a closer look at the striker.
Immobile could be a name that Liverpool turn to in the summer if they are aiming to bring in another striker.
There have been suggestions that Mohamed Salah’s long-term future at Anfield could be out wide, despite the player regularly featuring as a central striker this season.

Despite the fact they sit top of the Premier League, the one thing the Reds lack is what many would consider an ‘out-and-out striker’.
Roberto Firmino was often deployed centrally last season, with Salah playing in a wider position. However, this season the Brazilian has featured in a deeper role in behind the aforementioned Salah.
Immobile has already notched 13 goals in all competitions for Lazio this term.
Last season, the Italian striker was the joint-winner of the Capocannoniere, Serie A’s Golden Boot award.
