Liverpool are in talks to sign Atletico Madrid’s Angel Correa, according to a report in Foot Mercato.
The report indicates that the Reds are still looking to add one more forward player despite the arrival of Mohamed Salah and Dominic Solanke and Correa is a player they have their eye on.
The Argentinian is most comfortable playing as right winger but he is comfortable playing on the left or centrally, which makes him a perfect fit for Jurgen Klopp’s fluid attacking set up.

The report says that Liverpool have held talks with the player’s representatives and are willing to offer him a five-year contract worth around £2.4million a season.
Whilst no official bid has been made by the Reds, it looks like they’ll have to bid around £25million to get the player and even then, they might be forced to wait.
Atleti are currently banned from reregistering new players until January and as such, they may be unwilling to let the winger leave as they will be unable to replace him.
