Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is extremely keen on bringing Schalke midfielder Leon Goretzka to Anfield in January, however, he faces plenty of competition across Europe according to a report from Bild.
Fellow Premier League side Manchester United along with European giants Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Juventus are all monitoring the highly rated German as he looks set to depart Schalke.

Goretzka, 22, who is out of contract in the summer, is believed to be weighing up his options and has not made a decision on his preferred destination so far.
Arsenal and Tottenham have been strongly linked with the player over the summer, however, it looks like Klopp is set to do everything he can in order to persuade the goalscoring midfielder to make the move to Merseyside.
Goretzka could follow in the footsteps of Reds defender Joel Matip, who joined Liverpool on a free transfer from Schalke back in 2016.
