Liverpool target Adrien Rabiot reportedly turned down the chance to sign for Tottenham Hotspur.
The midfielder’s deal at Paris Saint-Germain expires at the end of the current season, meaning that he can sign a pre-contract agreement at European clubs in the January transfer window ahead of a summer move.
Rabiot has been heavily linked with a switch to Anfield in recent months but competition is set to be fierce in the race for his signature.
Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs side were understood to have been keen on a deal for the Frenchman. However, it is reported by Le10 Sport that the PSG star turned down the chance to agree on terms with the North London club.
The likes of Juventus and Barcelona have been touted as potential destinations for the France international, whose future is under immense scrutiny with the New Year fast approaching.
PSG manager Thomas Tuchel recently admitted that Rabiot could leave the Ligue 1 champions in January.
