Liverpool defender Andy Robertson is likely to miss the midweek meeting with Burnley.
Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that the club will assess the player’s fitness, but the Scot remains a doubt.
Robertson has been ever-present for the Reds this season, but they may need to call upon Alberto Moreno to come in from the cold on Wednesday night.
Moreno has rarely featured for Liverpool this season and continues to be linked with a move back to Spain.
The Liverpool boss has already confirmed that Sadio Mane is unlikely to feature in the game, but Robertson could now join the winger in the treatment room.
Robertson has become one of the first names on the team sheet for Klopp, with the defender largely unrivalled in that position.
While he has cemented the position as his own this season, it means any rest period in between games has come few and far between for Robertson.
