Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is reportedly ready to step up his interest in Real Madrid playmaker Marco Asensio, according to Sports Mole.
The Reds boss is keen on bolstering his squad in the summer and has been linked with a move for the Spanish international since the turn of the year.
Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is preparing a huge summer shake-up at the Bernabeu, with Gareth Bale possibly departing the club and Eden Hazard and Paul Pogba potentially coming in.
The 23-year-old, who has four years left on his contract with Los Blancos, has scored six times and provided five assists in his 42 outings in all competitions this season.
According to the report, Liverpool remain outsiders to secure the services of Asensio this summer, purely based on his lengthy contract at Madrid, however, it appears as if the Reds will do all they can to land the talented midfielder over the course of the upcoming window.
