Mario Balotelli has taken a dig at Liverpool fans after his move to France, as well as all the other clubs he’s played for.
Balotelli claims Nice’s fans create a better atmosphere at games than any of his former sides’ fans did.
Thus far, the Italian’s move to Nice has been a profitable one, helping them to the top of Ligue 1, clear by three points.
Speaking to Telefoot, Balotelli said:
Frankly, of all the clubs I’ve played at, these supporters generate the best atmosphere I’ve ever seen. It’s cool. I’m happy when people like me.
In his nine appearances in France, Balotelli has already scored seven goals. Contrast that to his single goal in his one season at Anfield.
Despite his reputation of being troublesome, he seems to have settled on the French south coast under manager Lucien Favre.
His good performances haven’t seen him make a return to the Italy squad just yet though, as he was omitted by Giampiero Ventura.

Ventura admitted that his exclusion wasn’t down to Balotelli’s technical ability, but instead because he didn’t believe a person could change in two months.
There will be no love lost between Liverpool fans and Balotelli, who never held the best relationship. It was with swift authority Jurgen Klopp decided he wasn’t suitable for the Reds and shipped him away from the club.
