Mohamed Salah has not trained with his Liverpool teammates all week due to his ankle injury, as per a report from Dave Maddock of The Mirror.
The Egyptian has had to have fluid drained from his injuries ankle, which has been bothering him since Liverpool played Leicester last month.
Salah was forced off late during the win over Tottenham with the injury and he’s not been able to train all week.
However, Jurgen Klopp has not ruled Salah out of the game against Aston Villa at Villa Park.
Speaking about the two-time Premier League Golden Boot winner, Klopp said:
He should be fine, he’s done individual stuff, medics say it’s not a true injury.
Liverpool face Aston Villa on Saturday, ahead of the Champions League clash at home to Genk on Tuesday and a massive Premier League game against Manchester City the following Sunday and they’ll be desperate to have Salah available for those three big games.
