‘Plan decided’ – Fabrizio Romano confirms Liverpool player will leave next week

Liverpool are still in the process of fine-tuning their squad under Andoni Iraola and have a lot of work to do before the summer transfer window slams shut.

Ronald Araujo’s loan move from Barcelona was confirmed yesterday, with the defender expected to add a bit of defensive depth to a fragile backline.

The Uruguayan is expected to make his debut against Como next week. But the game against the Serie A side could be Ifeanyi Ndukwe’s last game for the club this season despite his strong performances in pre-season.

Romano confirms Ndukwe will leave Liverpool

Earlier today, we relayed claims on Read Liverpool that Ndukwe will go out on loan as he can’t feature in the Premier League due to not having a work permit.

And now, Romano has doubled down on those claims, adding that he already has offers from multiple clubs across the continent.

He wrote on X: “Ifeanyi Ndukwe will leave Liverpool on loan from next week, plan decided.

“Proposals already arrived from Portugal and not only, up to the player and #LFC to pick best solution.”

Ndukwe seems like a massive talent and has already proved that he has a bright future at the club with his performances in pre-season.

Liverpool need to think hard and finalise the right place for him to carry on developing so that he can join the first team in 2027.
