Liverpool have been handed a boost in their attempts to land long-term target Adrien Rabiot this summer.
Rabiot, who has plied his trade with Paris Saint-Germain since 2012, is expected to leave the club at the end of the season when his current deal expires.
Numerous sides across Europe have expressed a serious interest in the midfielder, including Liverpool and Real Madrid.

However, according to Spanish media outlet AS, cited by HITC, Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has cooled his interest in the player due to his wage demands.
The same report suggests that the Reds remain keen on bringing the Frenchman to Anfield this summer, along with Premier League rivals Arsenal and Manchester United.
Securing Rabiot’s services could prove to be a shrewd piece of business by the club, with boss Jurgen Klopp expected to bolster his side in the summer no matter what the outcome is in the Reds’ attempts to land both the Premier League and Champions League this season.
