Liverpool winger Sadio Mane has sustained what has been described as a ‘minor’ hand injury on international duty with Senegal.
As reported by the Mirror, it’s believed that the Reds forward was forced to visit a local hospital to undergo treatment on an injury to his left hand.
Liverpool’s stars have been in the wars during the ongoing international break, with the likes of Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk sustaining knocks whilst in action for their respective countries.

It seems Mane’s injury is not a particularly serious one, despite his hand being visibly well-strapped up. Fresh claims indicate that the damage sustained is a broken left thumb.
However, the news of this knock is sure to come as another concern to Jurgen Klopp, who will be desperate to have a full squad to choose upon for Liverpool’s trip to Huddersfield Town at the weekend.
Mane has been a key player for Liverpool this season and will be looking to make his mark once again when the Reds travel to Huddersfield in the Premier League.
