Liverpool youngster Taiwo Awoniyi looks like he could be attracting interest from a number of top-flight European clubs.
According to Belgian news outlet La Derniere Heure, as cited on the Birmingham Mail, a host of scouts were present to see the striker score during Mouscron’s game with Cercle Brugge over the weekend.
The young Reds forward has now scored four goals in five games on what has been a very fruitful loan spell.
While it is not clear whether or not Awoniyi was the subject of all this attention, scouts from AC Milan, VfL Wolfsburg, Dinamo Zagreb and RC Lens were all present in Belgium.
Awoniyi is highly rated at Liverpool, so the club will be eager to keep hold of him for the long run, while there may be a number of clubs looking to secure loan deals for his services in preparation for next season.
