Suarez reveals desire to work with Jurgen Klopp

Ex-Liverpool striker Luis Suarez says he would love to work under current Reds boss Jurgen Klopp.

Speaking to German magazine 11FREUNDE, as cited on the Express, Suarez sparked talk of an Anfield return with his latest comments regarding the Liverpool manager.

Anyone who has ever played in Liverpool remains connected to the club for a lifetime. The team plays terrific football and I am very interested in how they will do this year. I think we can still be prepared for a lot.

Currently we work for two different clubs so that’s not an issue for me at the moment. But sure every player would like to train under Jurgen Klopp.

Suarez has been linked with moves back to Anfield in the past, but nothing concrete has ever come from the rumours.

Since joining Barcelona from the Reds, Suarez has established himself as one of the best strikers in Europe and etched himself into Barcelona’s record books recently after becoming their fifth-highest goalscorer in their history.

Liverpool supporters would undoubtedly welcome the Uruguayan back to the club, but it remains to be seen if a move back to the Premier League is realistic.

If there’s one thing Liverpool lack in their current squad, you could argue that it is an out-and-out striker, with Mohamed Salah used centrally under Klopp at the moment.
