Anderson Talisca would be open to a transfer to the Premier League this summer and has been discussing Liverpool’s interest in him, according to Calciomercato.
The Brazilian playmaker returns to SL Benfica this summer following a loan spell with Besiktas, in which he progressed an established himself as a highly coveted player among the top clubs in Europe.
Manchester United have previously been linked with a move for Talisca, whilst Serie A giants Roma had been named as the more likely destination.
However, as reported by Calciomercato, the Brazilian has admitted that a move to the Premier League would appeal to him, as Liverpool apparently continue their interest.
I’d prefer to move to the Premier League. I like the environment, the fans, and I have a nice idea of the English matches: in every game, the fans support you.
There is interest from Liverpool and Manchester United, but there is nothing certain, there is still nothing concrete. At the moment it is speculation, now I’m enjoying the holidays in Bahia.
The Reds are still yet to replace Philippe Coutinho following his January move to Barcelona and are understood to be on the lookout for a new playmaker. Lyon star Nabil Fekir has already been heavily linked with a switch to Anfield.
Talisca, 24, scored 14 goals and contributed with seven assists for Besiktas in the Turkish top-flight last season.
