According to a report from the Daily Star, Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur have lodged enquiries in recent months to gauge their chances of signing Danny Ings from Liverpool.
The Reds forward is set to leave Anfield this summer as he goes in search of first-team football on a regular basis elsewhere.
Crystal Palace and former club Burnley have already reportedly expressed an interest in signing Ings this summer, but the Star believe that they will face competition from both Saints and Tottenham Hotspur.

Ings has struggled to make an impression on Merseyside since his big move from Burnley. He has endured an injury-plagued tenure with the club and it seems he would like to resurrect his career elsewhere.
Jurgen Klopp is set to utilise Roberto Firmino as a striker next season and Divock Origi will reportedly be given the chance to impress in pre-season.
This could pave the way for Ings to depart, with first-team football unlikely to be regularly afforded by Klopp.
