Virgil van Dijk will be fit to feature for Liverpool when they face Huddersfield Town on Saturday evening, Netherlands boss Ronald Koeman has confirmed.
As reported by Sky Sports reporter Keith Downie, the former Everton manager delivered his verdict on Van Dijk’s recently-sustained knock but was quick to allay concerns over his availability for the Reds’ upcoming Premier League game.

Van Dijk was recently sent home from his international duties with the Netherlands after picking up a minor injury, prompting concerns from Liverpool fans.
However, Koeman has shut down claims that Van Dijk will face a spell on the sidelines, insisting that his exclusion from the national team’s upcoming clash with Belgium is based only on precautionary measures.
Van Dijk has played a pivotal part in Liverpool’s strong start to the campaign and is sure to be key for the club’s title challenge this term.
