Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum has revealed that he still gets goosebumps every time he hears the Reds’ fans sing You’ll Never Walk Alone, as reported on the official club website.
The Dutch international has become a key member of Jurgen Klopp’s squad and has been one of the best players for Liverpool this season.
Wijnaldum is now in his third season with the club and he has heard the famous song at Anfield on numerous occasions, but it still has a huge impact.
He said:
It’s great. I still get goosebumps, you never get used to it. The atmosphere is great.
If I have to make a list, it will come on every list.
The midfielder has experienced some magical European evenings at Anfield over the past two seasons and will be hoping for more of the same until the end of the current campaign.
