Such is the level of expectation at Real Madrid, Zinedine Zidane, who has won back to back Champions League titles as well as a La Liga title in his brief spell as the club’s manager, is under pressure due to his side’s relatively poor league campaign.
Barcelona are miles ahead of Real at the top of La Liga, with 17 points separating the two sides, and as such, Zidane’s future is in doubt.
According to reports in Spain, one of the men Real Madrid are looking at as a possible replacement for the French legend is Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.
Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is also apparently in the frame to take over at the Bernabeu if Zidane is sacked, but both Liverpool and Spurs will be keen to keep hold of their managers.
Klopp only recently signed a long-term deal at Liverpool and he’s said to be very happy in his role, so Reds fans shouldn’t worry too much about him leaving at this time.
