Connor Randall wants to stay at Hearts permanently

Liverpool full-back Connor Randall is looking to secure a permanant move to Scottish Premiership side Heart in the summer, according to Barry Anderson of the Edinburgh Evening News.

The 22-year-old is currently on a season-loan at Tynecastle and he’s enjoying playing regular football, something he would not get at Anfield.

However, there could be a stumbling block as Randall’s weekly wage at Liverpool is far bigger than anything that Hearts could be able to afford, so he might need to take a serious pay cut in order to guarantee himself more football north of the border.

When asked about his future, and a possible full-time move to Hearts, he replied:

It hasn’t come up yet. The conversation hasn’t happened. If it does, I’ll be open to listening to that conversation. It depends what happens in the summer between the clubs and what they decide to do. I haven’t heard anything yet. All I can say is I’ve really enjoyed my time here. Hearts have a great
set-up, a great set of fans and I think this club is going to go on to big things. In Scotland, it’s a massive club and deserves to be higher up the table and winning silverware. That’s not far round the corner.

The other option for Randall is a move elsewhere, and there would like be interest in him from other parties but one thing looks certain; his days at Liverpool are surely coming to an end.
