Liverpool have been given a boost with the news that Dejan Lovren has returned to training after missing the game with Watford.
Lovren also pulled out of international duty with a minor ankle injury but he is back in training as in in contention to face Crystal Palace this weekend.
Lovren had a mixed afternoon the last time Liverpool visited Selhurst Park. His mistake let James McAthur score an easy goal, but the Croatian made up for his error by scoring a goal of his own as Liverpool went on to claim a 4-2 victory.

Joel Matip played well alongside Virgil van Dijk as Liverpool demolished Watford 5-0 at Anfield and he will be hopeful of staying in the side for the trip to Palace, but Lovren will be doing all he can to earn a recall into the starting XI.
The fact that Palace play a physical forward duo might mean that Lovren gets the nod, but time will tell which defender he chooses to use.
