Leroy Sane: Man City “won’t bother too much about the noise” at Anfield

Manchester City winger Leroy Sane says his side “won’t bother too much about the noise” at Anfield on Wednesday night.

A lot of talk pre-match has been about how City will cope with the atmosphere at Anfield during the Champions League quarter final as it seemed to bother them during the recent league game between the two sides.

Sane, however, insists that the noise won’t bother him or his teammates and says that they will have fun under the floodlights at Anfield.

Speaking to the Manchester Evening News, Sane said:

It’s a really good stadium and the atmosphere is really good, but I don’t think we’ll bother too much about the noise. We always try to play our games and will be focused enough. For me, it makes it a lot of fun to play when the atmosphere is really loud.

Liverpool fans will be welcoming both coaches to the stadium on Wednesday night and will be hoping to make the atmosphere at the stadium as hostile as possible. Sane thinks it won’t affect City. Time will tell if he’s right.
