Liverpool’s talks with Lyon regarding the potential transfer of Nabil Fekir are “progressing slowly,” according to L’Équipe, as per GFFN.
The French-based outlet report that although talks between the two clubs are still taking place, no agreement is close to being reached, so it looks like this could be saga that runs on for a while.
L’Équipe also report that although Liverpool are the favourites to sign the French international, some of Europe’s biggest clubs are also keeping tabs on the player.

Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich are said to be interested in the Lyon captain, whilst Chelsea are also said to be keen to sign him too.
Lyon are in no desperate need to sell their captain and as such, they seem prepared to wait until later in the summer to do a deal, ensuring that they get the best possible fee for him.
Liverpool would like to get their transfer business completed as early as possible this summer but a deal to sign Fekir still looks a while away at this stage.
