Liverpool will look to trigger the £35million release clause in Porto defender Alex Telles’ contract this summer, according to a report in A Bola.
The 25-year-old is a reported target of Chelsea but reports in Portugal suggest that Liverpool are ready to steal a march by making a move to sign him.
The Brazilian star is said to be happy at Porto and he is seemingly in no rush to complete a transfer, but a move to the Premier League would be tempting for him, especially on a financial level.

However, it is difficult to see Liverpool paying such a large amount for a new left-back after Andrew Robertson impressed so much during the second-half of last season.
Futhermore, there have been reports that the Reds are looking to extend the contract of Alberto Moreno so it makes little sense for them to be going after Telles and it looks like reports are being leaked out to perhaps drum up interest in the defender.
