Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius has hit back at the people sending him abusive messages on social media.
The young German made another error as Liverpool last 3-1 to Borussia Dortmund in a friendly on Sunday night, adding to the one he made in a recent game against Tranmere and, of course, the huge blunders that cost Liverpool the Champions League final against Real Madrid back in May.

Fans of Liverpool and other clubs took to social media to give Karius more stick after the mistake and the German responded to them all with the following Instagram message of his own:
To those who take joy in seeing other people fail or suffer, I feel for you. Whatever it is that’s happening in your life to hold this much anger and hate, I pray that it passes and good things come to you.
Karius has already been replaced as Liverpool’s number one goalkeeper by new arrival Alisson, who’ll join up with his new teammates at the conclusion of the club’s tour of the USA.
