Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot is stalling over a move to Tottenham in January as he had hoped to join Liverpool if he ever left Ligue 1 for the Premier League.
According to Get French Football News, Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino has been in talks with Rabiot and PSG over a move, with the French giants reportedly keen on moving the midfielder on.
Rabiot has fallen down the pecking order at PSG and is said to be keen on a move to England but would rather join Liverpool than Spurs, though the Merseyside club have cooled their interest in signing the Frenchman.
The 23-year-old is out of favour in Paris after turning down a contract extension with the club, however boss Thomas Tuchel expressed his desire to bring Rabiot back into the side given his lack of midfield options; something that Sporting Director Antero Henrique reportedly refused.

Barcelona and Bayern Munich are also said to be interested in signing Rabiot on a free transfer at the end of the season, though Tottenham have reportedly offered a £4m signing fee in an attempt to lure the Frenchman to North London this month.
Spurs are willing to offer the 23-year-old a contract worth £6.5m-a-year, and Pochettino is hoping former PSG players Lucas Moura and Serge Aurier can persuade Rabiot to join Tottenham over Liverpool.
