Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has surgery on injured knee

Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has taken to social media to let the club’s fans know that he’s has surgery on his injured knee.

The 24-year-old picked up the injury during the first leg of Liverpool’s Champions League semi-final victory against Roma and it was s severe that it has ruled him out of this summer’s World Cup.

Whilst neither the player of Liverpool have released any information about the severity of Oxlade-Chamberlain’s injury, there was some hope that he could be back fit for the start of next season, although that is yet to be confirmed.
