Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold has been ruled out of Friday night’s game against Wolves.
Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that defender has not recovered in time to feature, as reported by Andy Hunter.
Speaking to the media, Klopp revealed that the youngster could be back in action during Liverpool’s Boxing Day fixture at home to Newcastle.
Liverpool travel to Wolves on Friday night in a game that has come too quickly for Alexander-Arnold.

The defender missed the game against Manchester United over the weekend as a result of a foot injury and has recently been pictured wearing a protective boot as he works his way back to full fitness.
Klopp has previously played down the seriousness of Alexander-Arnold’s problem, amid suggestions that the Reds were suffering from an injury crisis at the back.
Liverpool were forced to start with a makeshift back four against United, with Dejan Lovren and Nathaniel Clyne both coming into the side for the game.
