Liverpool are likely to be without Ben Woodburn and Gini Wijnaldum for the home clash with Newcastle United at the weekend as the pair have been suffering with illness all week, whilst Nathaniel Clyne, who has been training with the squad, still isn’t ready to play.
Speaking at his press conference ahead of the game, Reds boss Jurgen Klopp confirmed that both the Dutchman and the Welshman have been ill for the past week and as such, they are very unlikely to be in the squad to face Newcastle.

Woodburn will be hoping to recover in time for Tuesday night’s clash with FC Porto as, with Klopp expected to make changes, there’s every chance of him starting that game.
Wijnaldum will be disappointed to be ruled out of the game against his former side but should be doing all he can to be ready to face Manchester United on March 10th.
Clyne, who has yet to play a competitive game this season, still needs more time to get up to speed.
