Fenerbahce make move to sign Divock Origi

Fenerbahce have made an offer to take Liverpool striker Divock Origi on loan, according to reports in Turkey.

Rob Segal, who represents Origi, has apparently met with Fenerbahce’s sporting director Damien Comolli, the man who once held a similar position at Anfield.

The report from the Fotomac newspaper suggests that Liverpool will be willing to let Origi leave this summer and that they will be happy for him to go on loan if they can’t find anyone willing to buy him on a permanent deal.

Fenerbahce are in the market for a striker after selling Fernandao to Saudi club Al-Wehda and with Vincent Janssen returning to Tottenham following the end of his loan spell at the club.

Another Turkish side, Besiktas, are also said to be keen on securing a deal to sign Origi on loan, but as of yet, no decisions have been made about the Belgian’s future.
