Jurgen Klopp prepared for “nervous moments” in race for the title

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp believes there will be what he described as “nervous moments” in the race for the title, but he believes previous experiences will guide his side through.

According to the Evening Standard, Klopp understands there is pressure on his Liverpool team this season but revealed that is just part of the game.

Klopp’s side extended their lead over current champions Manchester City to five points in midweek with a 1-1 draw against Leicester, though victory would have opened up a seven-point advantage.

City clawed the gap back to two points after against a win over Arsenal on Sunday, prior to Liverpool’s trip to West Ham on Monday night, and questions of Klopp’s side may be raised should they fail to take three points off the out of sorts Hammers.

The Liverpool boss, however, is confident his side can handle the pressure of title favourites.
