Liverpool hold talks with Hudson-Odoi’s agent

Liverpool have stepped up their interest in Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi, according to reports.

German outlet Kicker claim that the Reds have held talks with the player’s agent as they look to seal a deal for the wantaway winger.

Liverpool and Bayern Munich are among the teams being heavily linked with a move to sign the Englishman.

Borussia Dortmund and Manchester United are also said to be interested as he continues his contract standoff with Chelsea. Hudson-Odoi is contemplating his future at Stamford Bridge, with his current deal expiring at the end of next season.

It was reported earlier this week that Chelsea are ready to offer the player a huge £100,000 a week and give assurances about his playing time going forward, but even that may not be enough to keep him in London.

The new England international impressed on his first spell with the Three Lions, something that has raised more doubts about his future.
