Mohamed Salah will travel to Spain for treatment on shoulder injury

Mohamed Salah will fly to Spain, along with members of the Liverpool medical team, for treatment on his injured shoulder.

The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) have announced that the Reds forward will travel to Spain for treatment as he hopes to be fit to represent his country at the World Cup.

Salah was forced off in the first half of Liverpool’s 3-1 defeat to Real Madrid in the Champions League final on Saturday and it initially looked like he’d miss the World Cup as reports suggested that he’d damaged his collarbone.

However, it looks like Salah has sprained his AC joint, meaning he still has a good chance of being fit for Egypt’s first game of the tournament on June 15th.

Liverpool’s medical staff will accompany Salah as he begins his rehabilitation and will make sure that no corners are cut as the forward looks to get himself back fit in time to lead the line for his country.
