The young defender was at fault for the first goal and had a pretty torrid afternoon as Jurgen Klopp’s men were unable to rescue a point.
Poor defending by the away side helped United forward Marcus Rashford score two goals and despite Liverpool piling on the pressure, they could only find one goal of their own in reply.
Alexander-Arnold has earned rave reviews for his performances this season and Liverpool fans will be hoping he learns lessons from his outing at Old Trafford and continues to develop at the impressive rate that he’s shown throughout the campaign.
